PokéSurvivor Update Log: October 2026 Changes

A dated log of PokéSurvivor updates from launch on October 7 to October 14, 2026: the Arceus endgame, bonds, co-op fixes and balance changes.

Last updated: 2026-10-14

This log summarizes the game's public changelog in plain language, newest first. It is current to October 14, 2026.

14 October: account recovery and co-op fixes

  • You can link a Gmail address to a name-and-password account, so Google sign-in recovers it if you forget the password.
  • The weekly and monthly leaderboards reset to match the all-time board. Only runs that reach the Judgment of Arceus count.
  • Co-op fixes: no more stalls while players wait on each other's choices, enemies hidden for non-hosts after a rift are visible again, and friends' status and invitations work even if a device clock is wrong.

13 October: the Judgment of Arceus

  • New endgame at minute 30: Arceus descends, takes you to the Ruins of Judgment, and a legendary joins every 5 seconds with double the health and damage of the last. See the boss guide.
  • Three new achievements, new boss music, and a flag button for reporting suspicious leaderboard records.
  • The all-time leaderboard was reset, records over 35 minutes were removed, overtime from minute 60 was removed, and rifts stop opening at 28:00.
  • The server now checks that leaderboard records were really played.
  • Gacha pulls and rewards are saved to the cloud immediately.

12 October: overtime and less random rifts

  • Overtime was added (and removed the next day when the Judgment arrived), plus automatic game updates and a What's new window.
  • Choose the normal or shiny version of your partner from the main menu.
  • New per-Pokémon upgrades: Critical Hit, Card reroll and Ban. You can also pin moves to specific slots.
  • Balance: Rock Slide was weakened, rerolls no longer come from bosses (one free per run, more can be bought), and rift legendaries drop a x10 ticket half the time instead of always.
  • Healers are capped at 2.5 times, melee attacks reduce damage taken by 25% while active and hit 25% farther for 20% more damage.
  • Rifts became more predictable, with at most 2.5 minutes between them, and unbeaten legendaries show up four times as often.
  • Gacha shinies no longer come out as duplicates. See the shiny guide.
  • The game moved to new servers, so you may need to sign in again. Saves are unchanged.

11 October: bonds

  • Bonds: after defeating a legendary you can fuse up to four moves that fire together from one slot.
  • A button to reroll level-up cards.
  • More rifts, weaker psychic moves and healers, and limits on how often stat cards can be taken.
  • Fixes for a black screen in hour-long runs, tickets lost when closing a tab, and an upgrade that was charged but not applied.

10 October: more challenge

  • Bosses and legendaries gained four telegraphed attacks and enrage at half health.
  • 12 new moves and 8 new attack styles: boomerang, chain, mines, meteors, turret, dash, trail and spray.
  • Mid-run events: single-type hordes, golden hour, lost Pokémon, and Meowth and Gholdengo running away loaded with coins.
  • Harder overall: fewer but tougher enemies, slower levelling, rarer tickets, and bosses drop a x10 ticket one time in three.

9 October: mobile and English

  • Play on phones and tablets with a touch joystick, and install the game as an app.
  • The game is available in English and Spanish, with a settings screen and automatic graphics quality.

8 October: missions, rifts and co-op

  • Daily and weekly missions, achievements with medals and titles, and a public profile.
  • Held items, move evolutions, and enemies that heal, shield, summon or explode.
  • Rifts to 18 legendary arenas, one per type, and weather that changes fights.
  • Co-op with a friends list, leaderboards, per-Pokémon upgrades, a ticket gacha and a type chart.

7 October: launch

  • First public version of PokéSurvivor.
